This looked like such a lovely book--and the cover is, but that's the best part of the whole book. I don't recommend this, and am being generous by giving it two stars instead of just one.The book is smaller than I expected (that's my own fault--I didn't pay attention to the dimensions listed) and hard front and back cover. I was so, so looking forward to receiving this, and had a hard time waiting the almost two weeks for it to arrive--and then was so, SO disappointed when it did.The images are printed on both sides of the paper. Part of MANY of the images is missing and even more is impossible to reach or color, because the middle of the picture on each page is caught in the binding. Several images are repeated more than once. Large sections of almost ALL of the butterflies--and there are many, many butterflies--are already printed in with solid BLACK ink. What if I'd like to paint or color a butterfly that's not mostly black? There are also flowers that are already painted all or mostly black. Many of the other images have all or most of the sections already filled in with very fine, close, dark lines and other patterns, which really limits what colors or creative choices you can make (and everything comes out dark). So sad. There are a couple of lovely pictures I would have enjoyed, but just a few, and not enough to keep the book--especially at this price. I returned it, and cancelled my order for another book in the series. I won't be buying from this artist or publisher again. :(
